Survey JEM™ is the latest in a series of successful asbestos reporting software applications created for various clients by AFM Web Design. The first asbestos reporting software package we created was developed for a company in Hertfordshire in 2000. It was designed to run on a network of PCs accessing data stored on a server. It was created as a solution to ongoing problems encountered by the company while using another piece of asbestos reporting software supplied by another company.

EMP

The original asbestos reporting software application we developed was called EMP and a version of it is still in use with an asbestos surveying company today. Over the next few years we developed several other asbestos reporting software packages for a variety of surveying companies. It was important for the applications to be able to export asbestos survey data to numerous property management software packages used by our client’s clients. We helped export data in formats used by blue chip companies, County Councils and property management companies. We are very proud of our success rate with the work carried out to import data into, and export data from, the asbestos reporting software packages we developed. We even created the export data file specification for a council housing department in London then built the export function to fulfil it.

At AFM Web Design we firmly believe that software should make a job easier, quicker or possible and preferably it should achieve more than one of those objectives.
